Here is how it works.

At Neill Timberland Management, Inc. & Southern Oaks Realty, LLC, our professionals will assist every client with designing and implementing a timberland management plan that will accomplish their individual goals and objectives. Developing this plan would involve the following: 

1. Meet With You

Initial visit with each client to determine their goals and objectives. Establishing these goals and objectives is our primary way of understanding how to best help you with your land. Once we have a clear understanding of your goals, we then move to the second step, which is a visit to all of your properties.

2. Take Inventory

Our next step is to take inventory of all products on each property, analyze the varying timber stand conditions present. 

3. Establish Your Plan

During this step we will write a management plan describing the following:
  • Each property
  • Schedule thinnings
  • Schedule improvements such as aerial herbicide applications, planting, prescribed burning, etc.

4. Implementation

Finally, it is time to get to work. During this final step we will begin all recommended thinnings and improvements based on our plan.

​All activities on each property is discussed with the client prior to implementation.  Our staff supervises each activity to ensure that all services are performed correctly.
